Program it in the countdown mode, in 1 second increments, from 100 hours to 1 second. At zero, a loud-beeping alarm sounds for 60 seconds or may be silenced manually. In the stopwatch mode, it times from 1 second to 99 hours and then repeats. Accuracy is 0.005 percent quartz crystal. Also has a time-out feature in both up and down counting. Notifies you when to read a color change, remove a sample from an oven, or go to a meeting. Big-digit, 1/3" high display is easy to read. Five-button operation is quick and intuitive (no need to ever read the directions). Stopwatch operation takes just the press of a single button. To assure accuracy an individually serial-numbered Traceable® Certificate is provided from our ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA. It indicates traceability to standards provided by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). Timer has a rugged, chemical-resistant ABS plastic case, key-chain, lanyard, magnet for placing on metal, and a 1.5-year, continuous-use, replaceable silver-oxide battery.
