I am a creative, hard-working person who loves to smile and laugh. I work with many kinds of materials such as wood, glass containers, plant pots, vases, ceramic crosses, furniture and glass to craft my work. Since 2012 I've been exhibiting my work in national and international art fairs including Tlaquepaque, Mexico City, Nayarit and Guadalajara in Mexico, and Lynwood, California in the US. I enjoy expressing myself through my work and get great satisfaction knowing people appreciate it. When a piece is taken to another city, I like to think a piece of me goes with it. Starting on my own has been difficult. Crafting comes easy to me, but the administration and selling products complicates things. I currently work with my daughters. I design and look after quality control; they do the filling-in, paint, and finishing work. I dream of growing my workshop to become a source of employment to other women in my community and set an example of self-fulfillment to my daughters. "
