Extech EX840A 1000A True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter with IR

The EX840A clamp meter features a unique, built-in, non-contact infrared thermometer with laser pointer to monitor temperature and locate hot spots on motors and electrical devices. A large 6000 count LCD display with bright back lighting allows you to see the reading in dim light. Its ergonomically designed double-molded housing offers a better grip for one-handed operation and the 43 mm (1.7 in) diameter jaw opening is large enough for conductors up to 750 MCM or two 500 MCM. With 1000 A True RMS measurements, measurement of AC/DC current, and a CAT IV-600 V safety rating, the EX840A is ideal for electricians, electrical contractors, and plant maintenance professionals.
