AQUAPHOR Crystal HA is a carbon filter for municipally treated water, removing visible particles like sand, rust, silt, and high residual turbidity. The initial K5 polypropylene cartridge traps particles down to 5 microns, prolonging the life of the K7 cartridge, which filters particles down to 0.8 microns. The K7 carbon cartridge, featuring CarbFiber Block technology, effectively removes active chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, microplastics, and other city water contaminants. The softening cartridge KH, containing ion-exchange resin, can be regenerated using salt. We suggest using this filter for moderately hard water (limescale appears in 10-14 days). For highly mineralized water, an RO filter is recommended. Cartridges should be replaced at least annually, or earlier in case of water supply pollution. The first cartridge should be changed every 3-6 months, depending on water turbidity.
