From the Manufacturer The Bridgeport Fittings 1621-DC2 3/4-Inch Set Screw Offset Nipple Connector has a 3/4-Inch offset and the threaded male set screw female installation. It is made from die cast, ball burnished, mirror smooth zinc. It has a trade size of 3/4-Inch, a diameter of 1-3/16-Inch and a length of 3-5/8 inches. It is used on EMT conduit. CSA approval UL 514-B. Bridgeport Fittings, Inc. was founded by Adelbert R. Auray and Neil G. Hayes in 1925 as The Bridgeport Switch Company. Initially, the product line consisted of electrical switches, bells, buzzers, wall switches and receptacles. The company shifted manufacturing direction in 1936, when it was decided to emphasize conduit and cable fittings for the electrical industry. Malleable iron, steel, aluminum and brass fittings replaced the original residential electrical components. Later, in 1948, the company changed its name to Bridgeport Fittings, Inc.
